Film Production

Since Moving to Kansas City in 2018, I have been involved in hundreds of shoots in the commercial film industry here. Through those shoots I have met many incredibly talented people who have helped me learn along the way. Below are some highlights.

Above: From September 2021 until Feb 15th I co-produced a 6-video, bilingual recruitment piece for the Kansas City Kansas Fire Department called, “Be The Change”. It was a collaborative effort between the production company I Post Produce for; Veer Visual, along side Gassmann Media and several other local organizations including 7th Row Productions, Scot Jolley Production Services, JGS Wrecking, Donnelly College, Bishop Ward High School, Anola Gaye, Koda Creations and many more. The behind the scenes is shown above and the final spots can be viewed in the video playlist below.

Above: “Be the Change” is about two fictional local Kansas City, Kansas children, who since childhood aspire to become leaders in the community as Kansas City, Kansas Firefighters.
The male protagonist Dante Freeman is the son of a Fire Chief, (played by Earl McWilliams) who sees his father as the inspirational hero he hopes to become. The young male role of Dante was played by Perzinski Chery and the adult role was played by Andre Cazenave. The young female role of Eva Chavez was played by Diami Aurich and the adult role was played by Dulcinea Herrera.
Viewers have the opportunity to follow the journeys of these brave children through to adulthood as they work toward the common goal of becoming Kansas City, Kansas Firefighters. The main plot points of the story highlight the educational requirements and the practical application of skills required to meet the needs of the job.

My previous work with the Fire Department is shown above. I was responsible for all production sound, color correction/grading and VFX on this project. I also produced all of the music heard during the video.

Above: “Hooked” by Olivia Sabates. I shot this music video in collaboration with Gassmann Media. I was also responsible for the editing, color and VFX of the music video.

Above: Micah Mouse. This is a children’s book that was written by my Great Aunt. After my family helped publish the book, I created this animation along with a fully original score to accompany the book in both English and Spanish.
